Clear the sequelae of Internet access

I believe that everyone feels quite comfortable driving the IE chariot on the Internet battlefield. But after fighting on the battlefield for a long time, don’t forget to clean up the battlefield!
1. Clear Cookies
Cookies are translated as Chinese, which means sweet cookies. Of course, the taste of sweet cookies is good, but if you eat too much, you should be careful. Open c:\windows\cookies (if your Windows system is installed in another folder, you need to make corresponding adjustments, such as c:\win98\cookies, the same below). Are there many cookies? These small cookies are free gifts from some websites (free gifts ≠ can be taken advantage of). Press "Ctrl+A" to select all in this folder. Then select the "" file (the file formed by the system itself) and click "Edit → Delete".
2. Clear the browsed URL (Url)
Click the drop-down menu in the address bar, and no sites you have visited are missing. I don’t want others to know which sites I just visited, what should I do? Right-click the IE icon on the desktop, open the properties, and click "Clear History" of the history item under the general column. If you want to clear only some records, click the "History" button on the browser toolbar, in the address history record in the right column, right-click to select an address you want to clear or its next web page, and select "Delete".
You can also use the method of editing the registry to achieve your goal. Find HKEY-CURRENT-USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs, and delete the primary key you don't want to "show your face" in the right column. Remember to let urlx (x represents the serial number) be arranged in a natural sequence.
3. Clear the visited web pages
In order to speed up browsing, IE will automatically save the web pages you have browsed in the folder c:\windows\Temporary Internet Files. When you are sure that the web pages you have viewed are no longer needed, select all web pages under the folder and delete them. Or open the IE attributes and click the "Delete File" button of the "Internet Temporary Files" project under the regular column (this method is not very thorough, leaving a few cookies in the folder). If you have viewed fewer web pages and want to retain some web pages, just look for and delete unwanted web pages in the above folder.
4. Clear the document
The "Start → Document" shortcut contains the files you have recently opened (including files you just downloaded and opened from the Internet). To clear them, just open the "Start → Settings → Taskbar and Start Menu" and click the "Clear" button of the document item under the "Start Menu Program" column. If you want to not completely clear, go to the c:\windows\recent folder to delete the unnecessary ones.
5. Clear temporary files
In the c:\windows\temp folder, there are temporary files left after the program runs, and you can delete them all.
Finally, let’s take a look. The deletion operation mentioned above does not realize “real deletion”. What should I do? Open the recycling bin, click “File → Clear the recycling bin” or select the file to be deleted, and click “File → Delete”.
