Beware that your ADSL cat is blackened

With the popularity of the Internet, network security is becoming more and more important. Today I will introduce to you a case that is rarely valued. I hope everyone will improve their safety awareness!

Everyone should know that many cats now have automatic dialing function. We can put our account in ADSL cat's dialing software, so that the ADSL cat can automatically dial it every time the computer is started, and once the computer is turned on, you can access the Internet. The above work is done through the following steps:

1: Enter the default address of the cat in the browser, such as: http://192.168.1.1, and a dialog box will pop up. Generally speaking, when entering ADSL cat, the default account and password are root., or admin, or there is no ID and password required at all, and the problem lies in this. Why did you say so?

2: Everyone should know the principle of ADSL! When we dial, the telecommunications bureau will randomly assign you an IP address. This IP address is regular. A region corresponds to an IP. For example, the IP assigned by us is in the form of 61.*.*.*. We can use the IPCONFIG/ALL command to view the IP currently obtained.

Three: For example, the IP obtained by my ADSL is 61.138.4.2. Then, by referring to this internally, changing the last digit of the IP is likely to be the IP that another user is using. We enter from 61.138.4.3 all the way to 61.138.4.254 in our browser. If an ADSL cat login dialog box pops up, it means that we have connected to the other party's ADSL cat, and then try to enter several accounts and passwords. How did you get in! Any parameters in it can be changed. Once we see who is unhappy, we can break the other person's cat, and the other person may think that his cat is broken.

I did an experiment today, and the success was 80%, because our telecommunications bureau did not seem to be aware of this problem, and almost all ADSL cats have not changed their passwords. Since there are only a few ADSL cat models used when installing ADSL in Telecom, and the default passwords of the same model ADSL modem are the same, this greatly increases the possibility of guessing the password correctly.

If you can just log in to your modem, you won't care much, but if you log in to your modem, you can further access your computer on the intranet. If the computer itself is not protected properly, you will be in danger.

Everyone would not believe what was said above, but this is my personal experience. My computer was hacked once. At that time, I was surfing the Internet and installed a firewall. Suddenly I saw a firewall alarm. The source address was 192.168.1.1. I didn’t pay attention to what port I wanted to connect to my computer. I continued to surf the Internet. After the next time I turned on the computer, I could never get in again. I couldn’t get in. No matter what state it was, it always started again. And I can't get in if I want to change the cat's settings again. Each time I have to use the pencil tip to hold the small origin reset behind to solve the problem. Now I think that at that time, someone must have used the IP of the external network to remotely enter my cat and hacked me. Maybe everyone will be surprised that people from telecommunications know such a big problem. I have asked my friends from telecommunications about this issue. In fact, they are also solving this problem and have given several emergency solutions. If your telecommunications department is not aware of this problem. You can do this:

1. Set ADSL to prohibit public network WEB login, and only local LAN WEB login can be used.

2. Change the default password.

3. It's what I think of and is the most amazing. It is also OK to change the WEB login port of ADSL to other ports. There are many methods. My most toxic method now is to map port 80 to my computer, and then change my IIS default page to a page with attack code. For example, it can be made into an optical drive code that can open the other party, a warning page, etc. I made one with JAVA, haha!

Okay, you know the principle of HACKing for cats, so you don’t have to be afraid anymore. If your ADSL cat has not changed its password yet, it’s better to change it as soon as possible!
